Anamirel Campos Recognized as Top 5 Finalist in Google Doodle National Contest

Anamirel Campos, a student at Mispillion Elementary school during the 2021-2022 school year submitted a doodle for the national gogle doodle contest.  Anamirel, who was the contest's grades 4-5 national winner, titled her work of art, "Family Will Always Care for You." In her submission, she wrote, "I care for myself by spending time with my family. They taught me many things, but I can't write them all, so I drew them all on a blanket. I love my family!"

The 2022 Doodle for Google National Finalists opened up their creative hearts and used their artistic skills to answer this year’s theme “I care for myself by...” The five student winners, one from each grade group, created artwork that celebrates self-care in all of its forms.

The 2022 judges consisted of Selena Gomez (Artist, Entreprenuer, Philanthropist), Elyse Fox (Director, Model, and Mental Health Activist), and Juliana Urtubey (2021 National Teacher of the Year).

National Finalists, including Anamirel, will have their doodles featured, a $5,000 college scholarship, google hardware and swag.  The National Winner will have their art displayed on the google landing page along with a $30,000 college scholarship, $50,000 technology package for their school, and google hardware & swag.
